Is it wrong to sell products without TIS.?

Electrical appliances, light bulbs, electrical switches, and power strips must be certified by the Industrial Standards or TIS.

If sold without TIS. certification, it means that those products are not of sufficient quality because they are products that must be highly safe.

If an inspection finds that the manufacturer or distributor of products does not comply with TIS standards, they will be punished with imprisonment not exceeding 2 years or a fine not exceeding 2 million baht, or both.
